Description
This instrument is designed for determining the penetration time of oil and other liquids through paper and other similar materials by the Surface Resistance Time (SORT) taken for 75% of the surface covered by oil through Photo Electric Digital Timer. Cooling system is provided along with constant temperature regulator.
Used for Writing / Printing and Absorbent Kraft Paper.
Technical Specification:
- The instrument chamber has an orifice for holding the liquid medium and a clamping device for holding the material.
- Penetration time after oil comes in contact with paper is noted by stop watch or electronic timer.
- Suitable range thermometer also provided.
