Internal Ply Bond Tester
The Internal Ply Bond Tester is an advanced instrument designed to measure the internal fiber bond strength (also known as Z-direction tensile strength) of paperboard. This tester evaluates the strength of the board in relation to glue bonding, particularly at carton side seams, and can assess potential delamination caused by scoring or the use of high-tack coatings. It is especially useful for evaluating coated materials.
This equipment is commonly used to determine the internal bond strength of paper, paperboard, and laminates. The readings are conveniently displayed on a digital display panel, with microprocessor models available to connect to a computer and printer for storing and reviewing past results.
